Recently I was reading a book called "Steal Like an Artist" by Austin Kleon. In it Kleon said that he has two separate desks, one for his computer and another for non-computer creative work.
I loved this idea since I have a bad habit of checking Facebook when I should be creating stuff. I also wanted to figure out a way to avoid sitting all day.
So I converted my IKEA drawer cabinet by taking off the legs to lower the height and putting my Wacom tablet in the top drawer. I'm loving having the two desk set up so far. I highly recommend!
Another "in my studio" shot. Here's the wall that I look at everyday from my desk. I love to collect art and these are some of my favorites.
I'm going to start a new series of blog posts that are photos from my studio. Here are some tools on my desk. And yes, that's a wooden flute. Sometimes I like to take breaks and just play for a little bit.
